The petition for review filed by the Natural Resources Defense Council et al. is denied without prejudice to any application those petitioners may choose to file to appear as amici curiae.
In addition to the issues raised in the People's petition for review, briefing shall address the question whether tapwater is a “source of drinking water” within the meaning of the Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act of 1986, Health and Safety Code section 25249.5.
