PEOPLE v. Charles Dwayne LONG.
It appears from official records of the Department of Corrections that appellant escaped from custody during the pendency of this appeal and currently remains at large. Accordingly, review is dismissed as improvidently granted and the cause is remanded to the Court of Appeal, Fourth District, Division One, with directions to dismiss the appeal unless appellant returns to custody within 30 days after the order of the Court of Appeal is filed. (People v. Redinger (1880) 55 Cal. 290, 299; People v. Fuhr (1926) 198 Cal. 593, 595, 246 P. 1116; People v. Clark (1926) 198 Cal. 453, 454, 245 P. 1112; People v. Elkins (1898) 122 Cal. 654, 655, 55 P. 599.)
