PEOPLE v. WILLIAMS (2025)

Defendant Townsel's petition for review is granted. The matter is transferred to the Court of Appeal, Fourth Appellate District, Division Two, with directions to vacate its decision and reconsider the cause in light of People v. Emanuel (2025) 17 Cal.5th 867, 333 Cal.Rptr.3d 1, 569 P.3d 372. (Cal. Rules of Court, rule 8.528(d).) The Reporter of Decisions is directed not to publish in the Official Appellate Reports the opinion in the above-entitled appeal filed May 1, 2025, which appears at 110 Cal.App.5th 1184, 332 Cal.Rptr.3d 394.
