In re: Man Machine Interface Technologies LLC, 2015-1562
In an appeal of the decision of the Patent Trial and Appeal Board affirming the examiner's rejection of certain claims of a patent directed to a remote control device for making selections on television or computer screens, the Board's decision is: 1) reversed-in-part as to the Board's anticipation rejection where it was based on improper claim constructions; and 2) affirmed-in-part where, even as properly construed, certain claims would have been obvious.
