Defendants' carjacking conviction is affirmed where: 1) defendant failed to show that allegedly improper prosecutorial comments affected his substantial rights; 2) because defendant suffered no prejudice from the admission of extrinsic evidence, any error under Fed. R. Evid. 404(b) was harmless and did not require reversal; and 3) all of the charged offenses, including being a felon in possession of a firearm, were based on the same criminal episode, so joinder was proper under Fed. R. Crim. P. 8(a).
