United States Fourth Circuit

In Re Grand Jury Subpeona, 164096

Partially affirming and partially reversing the district court's decision to deny a motion to quash grand jury subpeonas demanding testimony from a criminal defendant's attorney and investigator because although the testimony sought is work product it can be compelled because it falls under the crime-fraud exception to work product privilege but the government can't ask a general opinion attempting to reach opinion work product matter.
