Peterson v. Islamic Republic of Iran, 15-0690

Partly affirming, vacating, and remanding a case in which judgment creditors of the Islamic Republic of Iran and Iran's Ministry of Intelligence and Security sought to enforce their judgment by obtaining a turnover of nearly $2 billion in bond proceeds in a decision determining that the assets were not in the United States, but that they could be reached if the district court concludes that in personum jurisdiction exists and the assets, if they were recalled, would not be protected from turnover by execution immunity.
