Manslaughter, under Massachusetts law, is a violent felony within the meaning of the Armed Career Criminal Act. Defendant's conviction on firearms offenses is affirmed over claims of error regarding admission of evidence and the denial of his motion for a judgment of acquittal, and his sentence is vacated pursuant to his Booker claim.
