Read In re All Asbestor Litigation, 1-06-2163, 1-06-2691

An order by the court compelling appellants to comply with a motion to compel additional discovery and finding them in "friendly contempt" and citing one dollar to appellants' counsel is reversed and the case remanded where: 1) appellee's discovery requests is overbroad and does not comply with the discovery rules and related limitations provided in case management order No. 18; and 2) the citation of friendly contempt is vacated since it was neither contumacious nor did it subject the court to disdain or scorn.
