Appellate Court of Illinois

People v. Banks, 2050582

Conviction for driving under the influence of alcohol and driving while license was suspended is affirmed over claims that: 1) the evidence was insufficient to prove defendant guilty beyond a reasonable doubt of driving while his license was suspended; 2) the fact that a videotape of the traffic stop was lost renders the record insufficient for appellate review and thereby deprives defendant of his constitutional right to a direct appeal; and 3) the evidence was insufficient to prove defendant guilty of DUI.
