Denial of petition for habeas relief is affirmed where: 1) plaintiff failed to prove that he was denied effective assistance of counsel by virtue of his attorney's failure to ask prospective jurors about their prior acquaintance with the victim; and 2) plaintiff failed to prove that one of the jurors was biased against him, or committed misconduct by failing to disclose a prior relationship with the victim, by prejudging the issue of penalty, or by failing to deliberate on the issue of penalty.
