In an action brought against a hospital and nurse after plaintiff-minor was born with brain abnormalities that left her severely mentally retarded and unable to care for herself, judgment for defendants on wrongful life, breach of contract, and promissory estoppel claims is affirmed where: 1) the applicable standard of review was the substantial evidence standard; and 2) substantial evidence supported the express and implied findings necessary to support the judgment.
